The Community Review program is a brand-led initiative by Nothing that allows selected community members (tech enthusiasts, creators and reviewers) to test and review new Nothing products, both prior to and after their official launch.

====== Origins & purpose ======
The official program originally launched in India in March 2025, managed by the [[people:community_team|Community Manager]] in India, Depanshu Saini, who helped coordinate review unit distribution, non-disclosure agreement (NDA) compliance and feedback. The program began with the [[hardware:phone_3a_series|Phone (3a) Series]], which launched earlier in March.

The initiative aimed to engage with Nothing’s passionate user base, gather early feedback on [[:hardware|Nothing Hardware]] and [[:software]], and empower smaller, independent reviewers to share honest product opinions. The program strengthens Nothing’s well-established community relationship, giving real users early access to devices, while also leveraging user-generated content as authentic reviews.

Participants were loaned devices and were required to return them after the review period, with shipping covered by Nothing. All reviewers are required to sign NDAs for pre-release units and follow embargo rules for when reviews can be published.((https://nothing.community/d/29160))

====== Global Expansion ======
The program continued for India residents with the [[hardware:phone_3|Phone (3)]] and [[hardware:headphone_1|Headphone(1)]] in June 2025.((https://nothing.community/d/35350)) Then, in August, Nothing expanded the Community Review Program beyond India, formalising the application process for community members to test and review products globally.((https://nothing.community/d/39711))

The community review program is still going strong, is open to applications, and has seen community users reviewing further products such as the [[cmf:cmf_watch#cmf_watch_3_pro|CMF Watch 3 Pro]], [[cmf:cmf_audio#cmf_headphone_pro|CMF Headphone Pro]] and [[hardware:ear_series#ear_3|Ear (3)]].((https://nothing.community/d/39711))

Users can apply to the program by visiting one of the relevant threads for the product they wish to test and filling in the application form.
