Community Platforms

Community Platforms

Nothing has had a core focus on its community since the very beginning and hosts two official, first party platforms: nothing.community and a Discord server. There are also a number of third party spaces across the web, maintained by enthusiasts and fans of the brand. These channels facilitate announcements, feedback, collaboration and creative endeavors for Nothing.

Official Platforms

nothing.community

A forum-based website, Nothing’s primary hub for official news, discussions, firmware updates and community activities. Including categories such as Newsroom, product focused categories, Community Help and Everything Else, users engage in discussion of a wide variety of topics; both Nothing-related and off topic.

Created in May 2021, nothing.community was originally a closed space for those who’d invested during community crowdfunding round 1, and those personally invited to join. Later that year, registration opened up to the public.[1]

In December of 2022, Nothing discovered a vulnerability in the platform, which impacted email addresses belonging to community members. Speculations discuss the possibility of an exposed API, or an export file from community management software. As a result of the vulnerability, Nothing immediately took action to remedy the situation and bolster its security features.[2]

Sometime after this, nothing.community temporarily closed while Nothing focused its operations on Discord. After an overhaul to the site, it reopened to the public on 31 August 2023 with an official post titled “Welcome Back” from the Community Manager at the time, Rob.[3]

Discord

The official Nothing Discord server fosters real-time chat, firmware updates and broader discussions across categories such as mobile & tech as well as several off topic channels for music, film & tv, and more. It hosts over 70,000 members and has a number of language channels, allowing these community members to chat in their native language and discuss local initiatives, sales and events.

Created in January 2022, the official server took the place of the existing, unofficial server created by r/NothingTech in 2021. The unofficial server stayed open as long as it was desired by the community, but shut its doors in late-2022 as popularity of the official server grew and the unofficial server was no longer needed.

Unofficial / Community-Maintained Platforms

Subreddits

Opening on 21 January 2021, r/NothingTech was one of the first unofficial community platforms created for Nothing. Its popularity has grown over the years and it now hosts over 70,000 members and ranks in the top 3% of subreddits. r/NothingTech introduced the original Nothing wiki in June 2025, aiming to be the go-to place for Nothing resources, both official and unofficial, and frequently asked device questions.[4]

Several other Nothing related subreddits have opened since, covering a variety of topics such as home screens and photography. There are no official subreddits, and they are not endorsed by Nothing.

Telegram Groups

A number of community-ran Telegram channels exist, one of the biggest being the Nothing Archive. Similar to the official Discord, they host a variety of chats, from Nothing news and firmware updates, to photography groups and local discussions. These channels are all unofficial and not affiliated with Nothing.

Other Communities

Several other, smaller online communities and fansites exist for various reasons such as discussions and news in other languages.

Nothing.wiki is an unofficial platform created by the community, for the community.
It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Nothing Technology Limited.
